When you see a tweet from a rookie member of your favorite baseball team (SF Giants!) saying that he’ll be in your town (DC!) for a development program and you’re sad that you can’t be there, even though it’s not like they’re going to play a game against the Nats. You revere baseball players as though they are true celebrities.
